Welcome to the Beginner Training Area!

Use the menu on the left to select an article to read. They do have a certain order, so reading from top to bottom is recommended.

Now we get into some real training! Finishing this section and learning the skills will probably put you in a class higher than the average mountain biker, with a good base of skills and also a good knowledge of important issues such as managing your heart rate and using heart rate monitors, staying hydrated and maintaining energy levels.

While most the articles in this section are done, there currently isn't any video associated with them. This will take some time as traveling to specific locations, setting up shots, and then getting good takes is a difficult and time consuming process.
